Mariana “La Barbie” Juarez, will defend for the third time, her WBC flyweight title against Gabriela Bouvier, from Uruguay, in a rematch of their last bout that finished in a TKO by Mariana in the seventh round.
Also, Alfredo “El Diablito” Zuñiga, who is the current WBC Continental Americas strawweight champion, will defend for the second time, against Armando “Chiquita” Vazquez.

In the main event – scheduled for 12 rounds at Arena Mexico in Mexico City – WBC International flyweight champion Edgar Sosa, 41-6 with 24 knockouts, of Mexico City, will make his second title defense against Kenichi Horikawa, 20-9-1 with 4 knockouts, of Kyoto, Japan.
Sosa, 31 years old, won the WBC International title on September 9, 2010, and successfully defended it two months later on November 20. Currently the WBC’s No. 1 ranked flyweight, he is a former WBC light flyweight world champion – Sosa won the title in April, 2007, and made 11 successful title defenses over two and a half years before losing the title in November, 2009.
Horikawa, also 31 years old, is ranked No. 20 by the WBC at 112 pounds.
