“I’m so happy because there is no trash talking,” Pacquiao said. “It’s a good example to the children and boxing fans who idolize the fighters. This is the best boxing promotion of my career. Everybody is friends.”

“We’re both warriors, we both love to fight and we’re both winners,” Mosley (46-6-1-1, 39 KOs) said. “When you get two winners in the ring you know it’s going to be a heck of a fight.”

 

A press conference introducing the three opening PPV-televised bouts and undercard for Saturday night’s Manny Paquiao-Shane Mosley card yesterday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In the co-main, WBO Super Bantamweight Champion Wilfredo Vazquez (20-0-1, 17 KOs) will take on former champ Jorge Arce (56-6-2, 43 KOs). Former middleweight king Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32 KOs) makes his long-awaited return against undefeated Alfonso Lopez (21-0, 16 KOs) in a ten-round super middleweight bout; and in the opening PPV bout, Mike Alvarado (29-0, 21 KOs) takes on Ray Narh (25-1, 21 KOs) for the WBC Continental Americas title.

Boxing’s No. 1 pound-for-pound box office attraction and the Fighter of the Decade, MANNY “Pacman” PACQUIAO (53-3-2, 38 KOs), the lone congressional representative from the Sarangani province in the Philippines, returns to the Fight Capital of the World for the first time since 2009 when he defends his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight title against three-division world champion and future Hall of Famer “Sugar” SHANE MOSLEY (46-6-1, 39 KOs), of Pomona, Calif. Pacquiao vs. Mosley erupts on Saturday, May 7 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nev.

Manny Pacquiao’s fight strategy against Shane Mosley is already set. This fight plan is expected to deliver a more that positive outcome on fight night. With this kind of fight plan, Pacquiao is expected to knock down Shane Mosley in the middle rounds or at the very least in the later rounds.

This fight strategy is well guarded that all unknown persons inside the Wild Card Gym were made to go out in the effort to prevent leakage of plan. All forms of recording or documenting the training were also banned except photographs taken by Pacquiao’s personal photographers.

 

When asked regarding his prediction on the upcoming fight, Roach said that he is looking forward to see Pacquiao become the first ever person to knockout Shane Mosley. He knows for a fact that Mosley is a very tough fighter and that he has never been knocked out, that is why he is urging Pacquiao to train hard for this fight, knockout Mosley and make a statement.

In an interview at the Wild Card Boxing Club, Pacquiao said: “Boxing isn’t about killing each other, Boxing is entertainment. Entertaining people and making people happy.”

Naazim Richardson, Shane Mosley’s trainer, issued one piece of advice to his ward: Ignore the odds and focus on the task at hand, Richardson expressed confidence that the heavy underdog Mosley will emerge victorious in his upcoming superfight with Manny Pacquiao. A confident Richardson even went as far as predicting that the Pacquiao-Mosley fight will end up as one of the greatest upsets in boxing history.

Boxing fans are in for a treat, camera’s have began filming the activities and training preparations from boxing superstars Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley in a documentary style approach in “Fight Camp 360: Pacquiao vs Mosley”, all presented by Showtime Sports and has since debuted last April 2. The show is primarily focuses on the drama and behind the scenes of the upcoming superlight of Manny Pacman vs Shane Mosley on May 7 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

According to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, all ticket are sold out for the Pacquiao vs Mosley fight and only tickets available are on the black market or from scalpers.

“We do not have tickets in someone that hands right now. Of course, there are still countless tickets available - in the black market. “Arum said.

Top Rank said tickets for the fight, were sold out almost immediately within three hours of being issued. The MGM Grand Garden Arena has a seating capacity of 17,000 and according to Arum, the ringside is definitely filled with VIP’s from the world of sports, entertainment and politics, even a former U.S. president is reportedly interested to watch the fight.

Pacquiao-Mosley Presser

The Pacquiao-Mosley tour makes its next stop TODAY in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for an open, public-invited press conference beginning at 3PM PT. At the conclusion of the press conference, fans in attendance will be invited to step up to the microphone and pose questions to their favorite fighter, their trainers and Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum.

The next stops for the tour will be New York and Washington D.C.
