Former amateur star and professional Italian super middleweight champ Andrea Di Luisa (10-0, 10 KOs) proved once again to be in a different league than his domestic counterparts. Yesterday night at the PalaMalè in Viterbo, Italy, Di Luisa destroyed challenger Giuseppe Brischetto (8-1, 4KOs) in less than six minutes and retained his 168lb national crown with a stunning KO win in the second round.
On the undercard of a show staged by Rosanna Conti Cavini young light middleweight Walter Fiorucci (3-0, 3KOs) showed an impressive big punch and scored a spectacular first round TKO over Rosario Trovato (0-1), while veteran light middleweight challenger Giammario Grassellini (18-4-2, 10KOs) won a hard fight outpointing after six entertaining rounds of boxing stablemate Luca Michael Pasqua (15-4, 10KOS) in a very good and balanced contest.
