WBO interim mini-flyweight champion Ramón “Príncipe” García (14-1-1, 8 KOs) just managed to hold onto his belt with a twelve round majority decision over former world champion Manuel “Chango” Vargas (28-6-1, 13 KOs) on Saturday night at El Foro in Tijuana, Mexico. Scores were 115-113, 115-113 for Garcia, and 114-114. Vargas was initially announced as the winner, but this was corrected and Garcia was announced as the winner moments later.

Former WBC super featherweight champion Humberto “Betillo” Gutiérrez (28-2-1, 20 KOs) defeated René “Chirizo” González (27-3-1, 21 KOs) by a UD decision over ten rounds. Scores were 98-92, 98-92, 99-91.

Super flyweight - Johnny Garcia defeated Jesus Ruiz by DQ 8 / 12  to retain his WBC FECARBOX super flyweight title.

Welterweight - Antonio Pitalua defeated Antonio Fitch by TKO in 1:28 of   round 3.

Super featherweight - Dante Jardon defeated Jose Palma by DQ 2 / 10 to retain his WBC Youth World super featherweight title
