Unbeaten WBO light heavyweight world champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs) won by an unanimous decision over 49-year-old IBF and WBA light heavyweight world champion Bernard “The Alien” Hopkins (55-7-2, 32 KOs) to unify the titles. - French light heavyweight Nadjib Mohammedi scored a first round knockout against Demetrius Walker of Kansas City, MO. Walker, went down twice and was counted out at 2:16. Mohammedi is the IBF’s mandatory light heavyweight challenger.
