The sold out O-2 Arena in London, England watched its favorite son nab the twentieth victory of his career as Michael “The Count” Bisping defeated Yoshihiro Akiyama via unanimous decision Saturday night in the main event of UFC 120. After being wobbled early, Bisping controlled the fight with an incredibly fast pace as he landed cleanly on Akiyama repeatedly with well-placed right hands. Akiyama proved to be a worthy opponent by resisting some takedown attempts, but following three rounds of control all three judges’ scored the bout the same, 30-27, in favor of Bisping.
