  • UFC World Champions Event - The biggest weekend in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship® and the sport of mixed martial arts will now feature another truly memorable event. For the first-time ever, all seven UFC® world champions will gather for a presentation at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto on Friday, April 29 at 3:15 p.m. ET.   • UFC Fighters Come Together to Help a Youth Centre in Toronto - Fight week kicked off in Toronto on Tuesday that featured UFC stars helping youth centres throughout the community. UFC lightweight Sam Stout was scheduled at the Cabbagetown Youth Centre, instructing some of his moves to aspiring fighters. The Cabbage Youth Centre is the first place in Canada that will receive funds from the UFC works program. According to UFC Director of Canadian operations, Tom Wright; UFC 129 has made an initial contribution to UFC Community Works of $129,000 on a nation-wide program," 


  • Lingering Hand Injury Forces Jones Out of UFC 133 - A torn tendon in his hand that he suffered in his UFC 128 light heavyweight championship win over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua has forced Jon Jones to bow out of his August UFC 133 grudge match against former training partner Rashad Evans. Stepping in for the injured champion in the bout will be Phil Davis.


  • Pat Curran Dropping to Featherweight for Bellator’s Upcoming Tournament - Despite making a name for himself in Bellator as a lightweight, Bellator announced yesterday that Season Two Lightweight Tournament winner Pat Curran will drop to featherweight to enter the upcoming Summer Series Featherweight Tournament. The tournament is scheduled to kick off June 25 at Bellator 46 at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. The winner will receive a shot at Joe Warren for the Bellator Featherweight title.


  • Gina Carano vs. Sarah D'Alelio? - A long-rumored bout between onetime Strikeforce women's middleweight challenger Gina Carano (7-1 MMA, 0-1 SF) and Sarah D'Alelio (4-1 MMA, 0-0 SF) is expected to be part of the main card of "Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum." - "Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum" takes place June 18 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, and the main card airs on Showtime.


  • Satoshi Ishii halts MMA career to focus on another Olympic Judo run - Japanese media reports claim that he has decided to enter into the upcoming 2011 USA Judo Senior National Championships event in Orlando on the 29th. His goal is to obtain American citizenship and make a run at the 2016 Rio Olympic games as a representative of the United States. Mr. Ishii has been living in Los Angeles since last July.


  • Hallman/Ebersole at UFC 133 - Shortly after the announcement of a featured middleweight clash between Vitor Belfort and Yoshihiro Akiyama, it is being said that Dennis Hallman will also fight at UFC 133. He’ll meet the equally experienced Brian Ebersole in an intriguing welterweight affair. While still not officially announced by the promotion, UFC 133 is expected to go down on August 6th, at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.


  • Strikeforce stand out and MTV star Jason "Mayhem" Miller will make his long awaited return to the UFC's Octagon at UFC 132 this summer. UFC President Dana White made the announcement that Miller will face Aaron Simpson in middleweight action.
