World Kickboxing Network World Office Reaches Landmark Agreement With The Swedish Kickboxing Federation !

After discussions with the President of the Swedish Kickboxing Federation Mr Hakan Ozan, a Successful Agreement was reached to have the WKN Represented in Sweden.

The First WKN Event Will Be Promoted on October 13 With 2 WKN Major Championships In A New Fight Serie Called “SUPREMACY “

Personal facts

Hakan was born in January 1972 and today has three children between the ages of eight and twenty. He lives with his fiancée in a nice house just outside the centre of Stockholm.

Professional career

As a professional he is the Director of a research centre at Uppsala University. He holds a master’s degree in computer science and a bachelor’s degree in economics with several years as a senior business strategy expert and is known as a serial entrepreneur in the IT industry.

Fighting career

Hakan started practicing kickboxing and muaythai in 1986 and has been pursuing it ever since. He has had some 70 fights altogether, including a large set of professional fights in Thailand, and a number of world-, European-, and Nordic championship medals along the way.

Promoting career

Having held many board positions in various companies and organizations, Hakan entered as President of the Swedish Kickboxing Federation in 2009, a position he still holds. As such he has been very active in establishing the pro section of the federation and he is currently appointed National Pro Promoter for Sweden. He is also the founder of a new kickboxing fighting series to be launched in the autumn of 2012, focusing on organizing international high-class pro kickboxing events in the Nordics and Europe.
