WAKO World Kickboxing Championships

The World Association of Kickboxing Organizations will be holding the 8th WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS & 4th WORLD CADET CHAMPIONSHIPS in Belgrade – Serbia on the 19th – 26th September 2010.
Over 1,500 Kick-boxers are expected to compete in these championships which are being promoted and organized by the Serbian Kickboxing Federation, which is one of the most active members of WAKO.
WAKO President, Dr. Ennio Falsoni in a letter to all WAKO members spoke with the highest regard about the Serbian Federation and assured of the support of the Government, Sport Authorities, National Olympic Committee and national press, TV & Media backing.
The official opening ceremony will be on September 21 at 15.00 hrs and will be followed by the preliminaries. The WAKO World Championships will be held in all disciplines of kickboxing: semi contact (SC), light contact (LC), full contact (FC), low kick (LK), K1 Style (K1), musical forms (MF) and kick light contact (KLC).
