Earlier this week, representatives of three of the European World Series of Boxing  teams met in Geneva for a more comprehensive overview of the preparations for the tournament.

The cities of Istanbul, Milan and Paris were represented in Geneva (the fourth city-based team, Moscow, will attend the Asian conference tomorrow due to scheduling difficulties) by their senior management as they looked to concretise their planning for such things as national boxer recruitment, team development and venue operations.

Participants had a first look at some of the team logos, which will soon be unveiled on this website and enjoyed the first opportunity to share their experiences and seek ways to exploit synergies within the European conference.

Attention now moves to Delhi, where Videocon, the local franchise owner, is kindly hosting a similar conference for the four Asian franchise teams of Astana, Baku, Beijing and Delhi starting tomorrow.
