Women Continental Boxing Championship 2010

Mr. Mauro Da Silva, Mr. Domingo Solano and Mr. Luiz Boselli,  signing the host city agreement of Women's Continental Championships. The AMBC and Brazilian Boxing Federation signed a host city agreement to hold the VII Women Continental Boxing Championship between the  6 and 11 August, 2010.

This agreement was signed at the Elite Championships in Quito Ecuador, where Brasilia, capital of Brazil, was named as the host city for the Women’s Championships of 2010.

The agreement was signed by Mauro Da Silva, President of Brazil Boxing Federation, Mr. Luiz Boselli, Vice President of the - Brazil Boxing Federation and also the AMBC Secretary, and Mr. Domingo Solano, President of the "American Boxing Confederation"  who promised to do as much as possible to effectively organize the most important female Boxing Championship in America.

 

 

 

 

Côte d'Opale - Boxing Tournament

Young Tamara Garcia is the first Spanish female boxer to claim a gold medal in a large-scale international tournament in France where the local association hosted the Côte d'Opale Tournament in Grand-Synthe from the 14th to the 16th of June.

Thirty-three strong female boxers from six nations competed in the tournament. Countries such as France, Spain, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine and Greece were among the participants.

This was a good occasion for teams in preparation for the 6th AIBA Women's World Championships which will be held in Barbados in September.
