(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – USA Boxing will hold a special press event on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. with all 40 finalists in both the men’s and women’s divisions from the 2010 USA Boxing National Championships. The boxers will be available for both photo opportunities with their championship round opponents and one-on-one interviews.

The 2012 AIBA Women's World Championships will be held in the city of Chongqing in south-west China after the Executive Committee unanimously approved the city's bid, presented by China Boxing Association President Mr Chang Jianping. The 2012 AIBA Women's World Championships will be the only qualifying event for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Due to ongoing leadership problems in the Korean Boxing Association, which was set to host the 2010 AIBA Congress later this year and the 2011 Men's World Championships, both in the city of Busan, the Executive Committee decided to move the host cities of both 2010 AIBA Congress and 2011 Men's World Championships to different countries than Korea.
