This coming July a number of English boxing clubs will be holding training camps in Malta in cooperation with the Malta Boxing Federation.

Malta’s mild climate and hospitality has found favour with many English boxing clubs as the right place to hold their training camps. During the past year the MBF has already held a number of training camps in Malta. The small size of the island works in favour of the visiting clubs as it allows the coaches along with their boxing athletes to tour the local boxing clubs and use the required sports facilities with ease.

Regular flights between Malta & the UK, moderate accommodation costs, good training facilities and organizational support from the MBF are also contributing factors which makes Malta attractive as a sport camp destination.

The Lion boxing Club of London and Brentwood youth boxing club will be visiting Malta in the third week of July for a ten day training camp, while in Malta the Lion Club along with other clubs from the UK will be taking part in a fund raising activity for breast cancer.
