The Malta Finals of the National Championships for Olympic Style Boxing will be held Sunday, the 25 of April 2010 at the Giovanni Curmi Higher Secondary School, Naxxar

These finals will see  the best of Maltese boxers battle it out for the official Malta titles in several weight divisions.

This is the first time in Maltese boxing history that Olympic boxing titles will be awarded in one competition, womens boxing will also feature in this competition.

The level of the local boxers is expected to be much higher than in previous years and local clubs are in intensive preparation for these championships.

Olympic Boxing in Malta has been increasing in popularity over the past  two years an encouraging sign that this noble sport is once again taking it's rightful place in the Maltese sporting calendar.
