Tomorrow Wednesday the 16^th of June, four Maltese, Olympic Boxers will depart from Malta to England to take part in the prestigious “Haringey Box Cup” which is to be held at the “Alexandra Palace Hotel” in Wood Green, London between the 17^th and 20^th of June.

The Maltese Boxers are: 54KG Zak Farrugia, 60KG Haithem Laamouz, 69KG Peter Kahout and 75KG Philip Galea.

Farrugia and Laamouz recently competed in the “Mohamed the Sixth” box cup in Morocco, were both boxers did well and Farrugia became the first Maltese boxer to win a medal (Bronze) for Malta at an AIBA approved competition.

This will be the second international experience at club level for both Galea and Kahout, who along with Laamouz are also national champions in their respective weight categories.
