At the "Mohamed the Sixth Boxing Cup" being held in Marrakesh Malta went into the quarter final after it beat Jordan yesterday evening.

This in the first time for local top boxer Haithem Laamouz who is representing Malta in the 60 Kg category to have advanced to such a position in a major box cup. The Malta team is under the direction of English Coach Glen Saffer who earlier this year became heavily involved in Haithem's preparation for this box cup.
