Haye: I’ll Beat The Klitschkos, Retire Like Lennox Lewis
WBA heavyweight champion David Haye is still planning to chase unification fights with both Klitschko brothers. Haye has vowed to retire by next October, which doesn’t leave him with a lot of time to get the fights done. He wants to fight each Klitschko and then retire in the same manner as his idol, former undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis.
“There’s a year to make those unification fights happen, win them and then retire at the top just like Lennox Lewis did. The brothers know I am the most dangerous person on the planet for them but I am sure the fights will happen and that I’ll win them,” Haye told The Sun.
