Velez Vs Cooper IBF Female Bantamweight Title

Sampson Boxing LLC makes their promotional debut on Sunday November 20, 2011 at the TEXAS Station Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sampson Boxing presents a LIVE BOXING event as part of the proceeds will be donated to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission & Shelter of Hope as a gesture of warmth to the hungry, homeless & those in need.
The Main Event is scheduled for 10 rounds, for the IBF Female, Super Bantamweight title. Puerto Rico’s (via Hollywood, FL.) IBF Champion, Ada Velez (19-3-3, 6 K.O.’s) vs. the pride of Las Vegas, Melinda “La Maravilla” Cooper (21-1, 11 K.O.’s).
An 8 round Heavyweight division extravaganza, featuring the son of Russia, “Mago” Magomed Abdusalamov (10-0, 10 K.O.’s) vs. Rich “Super” Power (15-1, 11 K.O.’s).
An IBF Female, Featherweight title bout scheduled for 10 rounds. The champion from Miami, FL., Stacey “Stay Lo” Rielle (10-3, 4 K.O.’s) vs. the Dominican Republic’s (Santo Domingo) Dahiana Santana (27-6, 12 K.O.’s).
In the Welterweight division, a 6 round bout; from Santa Marta Panama, Azael “Turbo” Cosio (11-1-2, 8 K.O.’s).
In the Super Middleweight division, a 6 round bout; from Bogota Colombia, Alexander Brand (14-0, 13 K.O.’s).
In addition, Tatina Anderson and Irma Garcia Nunez, the winner of the WBC reality show “Reto de Campeones”.
A guest of honor appearance by WBC Diamond, Middleweight title holder, Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez will be on present two hours before the fights for fan pictures, signing autographs and in support of the Las Vegas Rescue Mission & Shelter.
Tickets will be available at www.texasstation.com, Station Casino Box Offices, every Mariana’s Supermarkets and Moda Latina stores as of October 24, 2011. TEXAS Station Gambling Hall & Hotel: 2101 Texas Star Ln., North Las Vegas. Doors open at 2:30 pm and the fights will commence at 3:00 pm. Ticket prices are: $25.00 for General Admission and $75.00 for Ringside. Sampson Boxing LLC President, Sampson Lewkowicz announced from Las Vegas, Nevada the privilege of hosting the REMATCH boxing event scheduled for Thursday, March, 31 2011 at the inauguration week of the Costa Rica National Stadium in San Jose, Costa Rica. In the main event, undefeated WBO Jr. Middleweight Champion from Costa Rica, Hanna Gabriel vs. (Mexican) pugilist Melisenda Perez. The rematch was born as a promise between the two pugilists after an exciting first bout. Sampson stated: “I’m proud to be part of the festivities in Costa Rica that would not have been made possible without the support & loyalty of Manager/Cousin Kathy Sanchez Cunningham as well as Ezequiel Obando, Trainer of Hanna Gabriel.”
The co-featured event will be for the IBF female, Super bantamweight title between Melinda “La Maravilla” Cooper, from the United States, via Las Vegas, Nevada vs. Ada “Ace” Velez, from Puerto Rico, via Hollywood, Florida, U.S.A.
In the Featherweight division, Dahiana Santana from the Dominican Republic vs. Stacey “Stay-Lo” Reile from Miami, Florida. Plus four exciting scheduled bouts with local boxing talents.
Sampson Boxing will have the privilege of hosting these fights at the Costa Rica National Stadium. The stadium is a gift from the Chinese government to the people of Costa Rica. The President of Costa Rica, Laura Chinchilla will be in attendance as well as other government dignitaries. In addition, the festival will host a soccer match featuring Argentina vs. the Costa Rica national team. All participants of the Inauguration week, will be staying at the luxurious Days Hotel, San Jose, Costa Rica.
